Job description:

In the capacity of a builder, the candidate will be obligated to engage in the construction, repair, and assembly of various structures, including buildings, steeples, industrial chimneys, tall structures, and underwater installations. Builders are entrusted with the task of overseeing, organizing, and actively participating in construction sites. Additionally, they bear the responsibility of restoring and up keeping both commercial and residential edifices.

Entry Requirements of this Job:

The minimum requirement for this job is that the candidate must possess a BTEC/SQA award or A levels or equivalent qualification. However experience in working in similar position for long time will be considered and preferred.

Tasks required by this job include:

• Interpreting blueprints and project specifications to decipher the arrangement and measurements of the intended structure.
• Choosing, measuring, cutting, and situating materials like steel bars, rods, and wire to specified lengths, employing tools such as hydraulic jacks.
• Arranging bricks, tiles, and building blocks to fabricate, mend, and embellish constructions.
• Pouring and leveling concrete, readying surfaces for paint and plaster, and blending and administering plaster and paint.
• Setting up plumbing fixtures, wooden structures, fittings, and embedding glass within frames.
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to guarantee the construction site’s safety for co-workers and the general public.
